Sourcing

Every article originates from a disclosed, identifiable publication or company announcement. The original source, its publisher and the time it was published are recorded with each article and shown to readers.

We use feeds and public releases as a discovery mechanism only. Articles are written independently rather than reproduced from the source text.

Verification

Material facts are checked against the source material before publication. Figures, company names, volumes and locations must trace to a cited source.

Where a claim cannot be traced, it is removed or the story is held for human review.

What we do not publish

We do not knowingly publish defamatory claims. Allegations, rumours, unverified accusations and legal or criminal claims are routed to human review and are not published automatically.

We do not invent quotations, statistics, sources, people or companies, and we do not rewrite negative reporting into misleading positive coverage.
